Welcome to the world of musesa
Musesa's design's are among the most intricate, based on a legacy of architectural forms, geometric sculptures, forms that evolve and revolve like nature's DNA structures or the precious balance between particles of energy and matter.
The collection is an understanding of natures beautiful energy, symmetry and intelligence of patterns. As well, from Monica's travels, each piece is inspired by her fondness of ancient cultures, mythology, motif's and symbology.
The Story Begins in the Heart of the Ancient World, Rhodes Island, Greece.
A collection of exquisite jewelry inspired from the exotic beauty of the Mediterranean islands with their colorful landscapes and the Aegean Sea, the fabulous underwater world of corals, tropical fish, and creatures of the deep and undulating algae.
Many designs are also inspired from the beauty and the rich ancient history of the Mediterranean: Ancient Greek and Ancient Egypt mythology, Babylon, Byzantine and Roman Empire.
This is why many designs have Greek gods’ and mythological figure names like Aphrodite, Medusa, Artemis, Andromeda, Calypso, Orpheus, Nemesis, or names from the Egyptian mythology like Osiris.
The designs range from a classical approach, some even reminding of the Victorian jewellery to a more contemporary jewelry design.
The name of the brand comes from the Greek mythology legend of the nine muses, daughters of Zeus which were the goddesses of the inspiration for artists, poets, musicians, dancers and scientists.
The “Artemis” handcrafted necklaces symbolize the famous evil red eye.
The designs combine a wide range of natural gemstone beads: sapphire, emerald, ruby, coral, pearls, amber, agate, onyx, jade, hematite, turquoise, topaz, lapis lazuli, peridot, garnet, aquamarine, amethyst, opal, rose quartz, moonstone, citrine, aventurine, labradorite, mother of pearl and many others.
The use of crystals gives a spectacular sparkle to every Musesa fine art jewelry piece.
